VANCOUVER (February 2, 2018) — Cytosport Canada, makers of Muscle MLK® premium protein products to help the body recover, rebuild and restore, has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Achilles International Track and Field Society, organizer of the Harry Jerome Indoor and Harry Jerome Classic events.
Muscle MLK® protein shakes and powder provide the essential nutrients to help recover and build muscle after hard training. The company’s portfolio serves the needs of elite athletes, active lifestylists and weekend warriors with a wide range of innovative protein-enhanced solutions that taste great and appeal to evolving consumer demands.
Under the agreement, the Muscle MLK® brand will have a significant presence at the Harry Jerome Indoor at the Richmond Olympic Oval on Saturday, February 3, 2018, and at the Harry Jerome Classic at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, June 26-27, 2018. The highly-regarded outdoor meet is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.
“This partnership provides us with the platform to directly support the track and field community and to provide nutritional support and education for all participants of the Harry Jerome Indoor Games and the Harry Jerome Track Classic,” said Anjulie Latta, director of marketing for the Muscle MLK® brand.
“Recovery and nutrition are important elements to every training program and we’re proud to be able to support that with our product,” Latta added.
“We’re always looking to expand the number of corporations supporting us,” said Doug Clement, president of the Achilles Track and Field Society. “And with sport nutrition becoming more of a critical part of every athlete’s preparation, we’re very excited to have Cytosport come aboard.”
